Following the recent trend to redesign the site, I’ve put together my own mockup.

Autopackage doesn’t work

At least, that’s what this guy says. *sigh*, some day, someone needs to write an article to dispel of all the myths.

Bleach 59

Bleach 49
As predicted, Ichigo finally turned into a hollow. I expected a huge commotion and lots of problems but nooo - it only lasted 2 minutes.

Welcome, Planet GNOME readers

We got linked from Planet GNOME. Welcome, fellow blog readers. I also quickly setup a statistics page to see how many people come from there.

Autopackage 1.2 is now near. We’ve finished all features that are planned for this release. All that’s left now is testing, testing and more testing. New stuff in 1.2 include:

  • Improved C++ support. Not that C++ apps aren’t not already supported, but 1.2 has a solution to the C++ ABI problem.
  • LZMA compression. This compression is better than even bzip2!
  • Improved support for all kinds of distributions.

There, I’ve now had another excuse to write something on my blog. :)

WordPress setup

The WordPress blog has been setup. Eventually this blog will be aggregated by planet.autopackage.org (which doesn’t exists yet). At least, that’s the plan…

Oh by the way, stop using Internet Explorer and start using Firefox. There’s at least one transparent PNG on this website, and Internet Explorer does not support transparent PNGs correctly! (Yes I tried the PNG hack - it doesn’t work) View this site in Firefox and it’ll look better.
